Usage Guidelines
Use this command to configure a TACACS server as an external authentication server. This
configuration applies only for management users in Instant and not for the other SSID or
wired profiles.
Example
The following example configures the TACACS protocols:
(scalance)(config)# wlan tacacs-server Server1
(scalance)(TACACS Server < Server1>) # ip <10.17.121.54>
(scalance)(TACACS Server <Server1>) # port <49>

Description
Configures the TACACS server profile.
Configures an interval
Configures the IP address of the TACACS server.
Configures the TCP port for the server
Configures a shared secret key to authenticate com-
munication between the TACACS+ client and server.
Configures a timeout value for TACACS+ requests
from the management users
Configures the maximum number of authentication
requests that are sent to the server
Enables session authorization for the admin users. By
default, session authorization is disabled.
Removes the specified configuration parameter.
