The controller module SP-COP2-ENI can be used for Modbus TCP. The internal SP-EN-MOD (Modbus
TCP Gateway) is a component of the SP-COP2-ENI device and is activated by the gateway configura-
tion:

• Modbus TCP with master and slave operation
• Ethernet TCP/IP socket interface, polling and auto-update function

6.2 Basic configuration – allocation of an IP address

The SP-COP2-ENI module is configured with the help of the samosPLAN 6 configuration software.
Step 1: Add SP-COP2-ENI module
 Start samosPLAN 6 and open the Modules docking window.
 Add the controller module SP-COP2-ENI.

Step 2: Open configuration dialog
 Switch to the Project structure docking window.
 Click on the top element, which represents the controller.
