Possible cause
Red / green
• Internal device error on the
SP-PROFIBUS-DP module
• The module version of the
controller module does not

support any gateways.

Red (2 Hz)
• The SP-PROFIBUS-DP mo-
dule is not properly
connected to the sa-
mosPRO modules.
• The module connection
plug is dirty or damaged.
Off
• Another samosPRO module
has an internal critical er-
ror.
PROFIBUS DP gateway
Possible remedy
• Switch the samosPRO system's
power supply off and on again.
• Check the diagnostic messages
with the aid of the samos-
PLAN 6 .
• Use the controller module with
the required module version.
• If the error persists, replace the
gateway.
• Plug the SP-PROFIBUS-DP
module in correctly.
• Clean the connection plug and
socket.
• Switch on the power supply
again.
• Check the other samosPRO
modules.
