The water filter is located under the galley sink. For winterization purposes,
the filter head may have been installed with the diverter cap in place. In this
case remove the diverter cap and store for winterization. Install the cartridge
by following the instructions on the cartridge.
The internal filter is designed to remove particles and organisms as small as
½ micron*. As water passes through the water filter, impurities are trapped in
the pores of the micro-pure coating restricting the flow of water. When the
flow of water is restricted the cartridge should be replaced.
The life of the filter will vary depending on the purity of the incoming
water and the quantity used. If the cartridge is not changed, the flow will
eventually stop entirely. Even if the flow of water is not reduced, change the
cartridge at least once a year for reliable filter performance.
*One micron is one millionth of one meter.
NOTE: Change the filter at least once a year.
