Symptom:
*NO RESPONSE FROM BODY CONTROL MODULE
OPEN GROUND CIRCUITS
BODY CONTROL MODULE
TEST
1 NOTE: Make sure the DRB can communicate with other modules before
proceeding, if not refer to the PCI Bus Communication Failure symptom.
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM C1, C2 and C3 harness connectors.
NOTE: Ensure all lights are turned off.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, probe each ground circuit.
Is the test light illuminated for each circuit?
Yes → Replace the Body Control Module in accordance with the service
→ Repair the Ground circuit(s) for an open.
