*CHIME INOPERATIVE WITH KEY-IN IGNITION AND DRIVER DOOR

TEST
4 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Ignition Switch C3 harness connector.
Disconnect the Body Control Module C1 harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the Key-In Ignition Switch Sense circuit between the
ignition switch connector and the BCM harness C1 connector .
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Go To 5
→ Repair the Key-In Ignition Switch Sense circuit for an open
No
5 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
ACTION
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Replace the Body Control Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
