When installing the new controller board
1. Remove the NVRAM from the old controller board.
2. Install the NVRAM on the new controller board after you replace the controller board.
3. Reassemble the machine.
4. Turn on the main power of the machine.
• Make sure you print out the SMC reports ("SP Mode Data" and "Logging Data") before you replace
the NVRAM.
• Re-install the NetWare option if new NVRAM is installed when replacing the controller board.
