Error codes related to CC-Link IE Field Network

This section describes CC-Link IE Field Network error codes. Communication errors refer to CC-Link IE Field Network
communication related errors and safety communication related errors. The ERR. LED does not turn on when a
communication error occurs.
Communication errors of CC-Link IE Field Network are classified into the following two error types depending on the operation
of the D LINK LED performed at an error, and troubleshooting differs for each error type.
• Page 100 Communication errors where the D LINK LED flashes or turns off
• Page 101 Communication errors where the D LINK LED does not change

The following table lists the communication errors of CC-Link IE Field Network where the D LINK LED flashes or turns off at
an error. Troubleshoot these errors with the CC-Link IE Field Network diagnostics of the engineering tool.

Description and cause
Station type
The module parameter of the
mismatch
master station is incorrect or
outside the range.
Own station
The module parameter of the
reserved
master station is incorrect or
outside the range.
Station No.
The station number setting

Action
Change the station type of the module to the remote device
station in the "Network Configuration Settings" of the master
station.
• In the "Network Configuration Settings" of the master station,
cancel the reserved station specification.
• Change the station number of the module to a station number
that is not reserved.
• Set a unique station number.
• After taking the above action, power off and on or reset all the
stations where this error was detected.
Add the station information of the module in the "Network
Configuration Settings" of the master station.
Set the station number within the allowable range.
