Command
Description
Start a local or remote
management session on the
switch. For instructions, refer to
"Starting a Local Management
Session" on page 145.
Enter the ENABLE command to
move from the User Exec mode
to the Privileged Exec mode.
Enter the CONFIGURE
TERMINAL command to move
to the Global Configuration
mode.
Enter the INTERFACE
command to move to the
Interface mode of port1.2.1 and
port1.5.4.
Enter the STACKPORT
command to designate the
ports as trunk ports.
Enter the EXIT command to
return to the Global Config
mode.
Enter the EXIT command to
return to the Privileged Exec
mode.
Enter the WRITE command to
save your change.
Restart the switch with the
REBOOT command.
Type "Y" for yes.
Wait three minutes for the
switch to initialize its
management software.
