Setup | Tilting the working plane (option 8)
Manual Operation Basic Rotation
If the basic rotation function is active, the control displays the
icon in the status display.
If a basic rotation or a 3-D basic rotation has already been saved to
the preset table, the control additionally displays the corresponding
icon.
If the Manual Operation Basic Rotation function is
active, an active basic rotation or 3-D basic rotation
is taken into account during manual movement of
the axes. The control displays two icons in the status
display.
The axis movements are effective in the W-CS workpiece
coordinate system.

Program Run 3-D ROT
If you set the Tilt working plane function to Active for the
Program run mode, the tilt angle entered in the menu will be
effective starting from the first NC block of the NC program to be
run.
If you use Cycle 19 WORKING PLANE or the PLANE function in the
NC program, the angle values defined there are in effect. Angle
values entered in the menu will be set to 0.
The control uses the following
tilting:
COORD ROT
if a PLANE function was previously executed with
COORD ROT
after PLANE RESET
with corresponding configuration of the machine
parameter CfgRotWorkPlane (no. 201200) by the
machine tool builder
TABLE ROT
if a PLANE function was previously executed with
TABLE ROT
with corresponding configuration of the machine
parameter CfgRotWorkPlane (no. 201200) by the
machine tool builder
If tilting was active when the control was turned off,
then the control also moves in the tilted working plane
when it is turned on again.
