Operator Panel

The Operator panel will typically be located on a user-supplied payload structure, so the
removal and replacement of this will vary from one AIV to another. It plugs into the HMI
Panel connector on the core.

Wheels and Tires

The wheels and tires should be checked every 3 months. If they show signs of cracking, excess-
ive wear, or any damage they should be replaced. Refer to the following figure.
The wheel and tire assembly is P/N 11210-000.
Removal
1. Remove the side cover a small distance from the platform on the side where you want
to replace the wheel and tire. Refer to Removing and Installing Covers on page 127.
The PCA cable to the light disc will still be attached.
2. Disconnect the cable from the light disc, so the side cover can be moved completely
away from the platform.
This will fully expose the wheel and tire.
3. Lift the drive wheel up, compressing its springs, enough so that you can insert a Ø6 x
10 mm (Ø0.24 x 0.4 in.) pin into the hole on the rear side of the assembly (there is a
hole on each side). This will keep the springs compressed (the wheel will be in the up
position), and make wheel replacement easier. If you saved a wheel pin when you
uncrated the platform, you can use that. An M5 x 10 screw also works well for this. See
the following figure.
