3.3 Unpacking

Before signing the carrier's delivery sheet, compare the actual items received (not just the pack-
ing slip) with your equipment purchase order. Verify that all items are present and that the
shipment is correct and free of visible damage.
If the items received do not match the packing slip, or are damaged, do not sign the

receipt.
If the items received do not match your order, please contact Omron Adept Tech-
l
nologies, Inc. immediately.
Retain the containers and packaging materials. These items may be necessary to settle claims
or, at a later date, to relocate the equipment.

Battery

The battery is shipped in a separate container, not inside the platform. The battery box meas-
ures 311 x 540 x 457 mm (12.25 x 21.25 x 18 in.). Locate the carton that contains the battery
before continuing. Refer to the following figure.
The battery is shipped in a cardboard carton. Remove the battery from the carton. The battery
has recessed hand grips at the ends of the battery, for lifting.
