Enabling Jumbo Frames

Network CLI Commands
• --oldpassword - if not specified on command line, the program will prompt
for the old password and will not echo it to screen.
• --newpassword - if not specified on command line, the program will
prompt for the new password and will not echo it to screen.
syscli --reset password --name cliadmin|cliviewer [--sure]
This CLI allows the admin user to reset the password to factory default for the
following special users:
• cliadmin - CLI Administrator
• cliviewer - CLI Monitor
Option description:
• --reset - Resets password of special users to factory default.
• --name - Name of special user whose password is to be changed.
• --sure - if specified, the command will execute immediately without asking
for confirmation.
The following network CLI commands are available:
Enabling Jumbo Frames
Disabling Jumbo Frames
Getting Jumbo Frame Status
Setting Up a Segmented Network
Setting Up an Unsegmented Network
Querying the Network
syscli --enable jumbo [--dev <device>]
Note: This CLI command is not available for DXi6700 systems.
This CLI command allows the admin user to enable jumbo frames. If no option is
specified, jumbo frames are enabled for both bond0 and bond1. Use the --dev
<device> option to enable jumbo frames for the specified device (for example,
bond0, bond1, eth0). Note that this command is not available if a custom
network configuration is already in place.
