You must also configure your backup software. Configuring the DXi4000 consists of four major steps.

    DXi4000 Installation and Configuration Guide Accessing the DXi4000, To access the DXi4000 remote management console: Remote Management 1 Turn on the DXi4000 system by pressing the power button located on the front of Console each chassis (see Figure Note: Wait for the system to boot before continuing with the procedure. This can take up to 30 minutes.

  • Page 20 6 Do not make any changes under IP Address Configuration > Interface Details unless directed by your network administrator. (For more information about the Quantum VLAN tag and MTU size options, see the “Network” section in the DXi4000 User’s Guide , 6-67092).
