Interchanging the position encoders
Switch main switch of machine off
Interchange position encoder cables for the axes
concerned at MC or CC 424
(in example: Connectors X1 and X2 at MC)
Switch main switch of machine on
Do not confirm the Power interrupted
message but immediately call the MP list and
in MP110.x interchange the entry values of
the axes concerned
(in the example: MP 110.0: 2 and MP 110.1: 1)
If required also interchange the values in
MP 115.0 and MP 115.2 and
MP 116.0 and MP 116.2
(signal type and input frequency)
Does the error
pattern move to the other axis?
(in the example
from X to Y)
The defect is probably located in the position
encoder input of the control
