Problem
Machine does not start
Machine propels slowly

Glow plug not warmed up properly Turn key to warm up glow plug
Fuel filter plugged

Parking brake on
Towing valve on
Vacuum head or hose clogged
Hopper vacuum fan clogged
Vacuum head not lowered
completely
Vacuum head seals damaged
Machine propelling too fast
Vacuum not close enough to
debris
Debris hopper full
Engine throttle too low
Vacuum bag (option) clogged
Dust filter bag (option) clogged
Panel filter (option) clogged
Hopper Thermo Sentryt on
Solenoid valve not operating
Vacuum fan not on
Vacuum fan failure
Main vacuum hose gate valve

Gas cylinders damaged

VACUUMING
Remedy
Replace fuel filter
Replace fuel pump
Readjust stops or cables
Start machine
Release parking brake
Turn towing valve 90°
Remove vacuum head or hose
blockage
Clean off fan vacuum screen
Lower vacuum head completely
Replace or repair worn vacuum
head seals
Slow machine speed
Move vacuum closer to debris
Empty debris hopper
Increase engine throttle
Empty Vacuum bag (option)
Empty dust filter bag (option)
Clean panel filter (option)
Check for fire in hopper
Contact TENNANT service

Turn vacuum fan on

Open main vacuum hose gate

Close panel filter door
Turn on water dust control
