VACUUMING
TO ADJUST HOPPER COVER PIVOT
BRACKETS
FOR SAFETY: Before Leaving Or
Servicing Machine; Stop On Level
Surface, Set Parking Brake, turn off
machine, and remove key.
1. The lip seal of the hopper must contact the
lip of the hopper cover for proper operation
of the vacuum system.
2. If the hopper cover is not level with the
hopper, the pivot brackets must be
adjusted.
3. Raise the hopper cover and tilt the hopper
back.
4. Loosen the hex screws holding the pivot
brackets to each front side of the hopper
cover.
5. Move the front of the hopper cover up or
down until the hopper and hopper cover seal
evenly with each other. Re--tighten the
hardware to 18 -- 24 Nm (15 -- 20 ft. lb).
6. Open and close the hopper cover. Check for
proper sealing of the cover to hopper seal.
