WARNING
uses some power, even if the switch on the front panel is turned off.
When working with solvents please observe appropriate safety procedures (for

example. goggles, safety gloves and protective clothing) as described in the
material handling and safety data sheet by the solvent vendor, especially when
using toxic or hazardous solvents.
The electronics of the detector will not allow operation of the detector when the top
cover
NOTE
and the top foam are removed. A safety light switch on the main board will inhibit the
operation of the fan immediately. Voltages for the other electronic components will
be turned off after 30 seconds. The status lamp will light up red and an error will be
logged into the logbook of the user interface. Always operate the detector with the
top covers in place.
Electronic boards and components are sensitive to electronic discharge (ESD). In
order

to prevent damage always use an ESD protection (for example, the ESD wrist strap
from the accessory kit) when handling electronic boards and components, see
"Using the ESD Strap"
Eye damage may result from directly viewing the light produced by the
Deuterium
WARNING
lamp used in this product. Always turn off the deuterium lamp before removing
it.
