44.1.7.3 User Information File for SBC User Database
You can use the SBC User Info table for the following:
Registering each user to an external registrar server.
Authenticating (for any SIP request and as a client) each user if challenged by an
external server.
Authenticating as a server incoming user requests (for SBC security).
If the device registers on behalf of users and the users do not perform registration, any SIP
request destined to the user is routed to the Proxy Set associated with the user's IP Group.
You can configure up to 800 users (table rows) in the SBC User Info table. The SBC User
Info table can be configured using any of the following methods:

Loadable User Info file - see ''Configuring SBC User Info Table in Loadable Text File''

44.1.7.3.1 Configuring SBC User Info Table through Web Interface
The following procedure describes how to configure the SBC User Info table through the
Web interface.
Note:
removed from the table in the Web interface and replaced with the entries from the
loaded User Info file.
To configure the SBC User Info table through the Web interface:
1.
Open the SBC User Info table (Configuration tab > VoIP menu > SIP Definitions >
User Information > SBC User Info Table).
2.
Click Add; the following dialog box appears:
