In the 'Shutdown Timeout' field (available only if the 'Graceful Option' field is
configured to Yes), enter the time after which the device resets. Note that if no traffic
exists and the time has not yet expired, the device resets.

Click the Reset button; a confirmation message box appears, requesting you to
confirm.

Click OK to confirm device reset; if the 'Graceful Option' field is configured to Yes (in
Step 3), the reset is delayed and a screen displaying the number of remaining calls
and time is displayed. When the device begins to reset, a message appears to notify
you.

Remotely Resetting Device using SIP NOTIFY

The device can be remotely reset upon the receipt of a SIP NOTIFY that contains an Event
header that is set to 'check-sync;reboot=true' (proprietary to AudioCodes), as shown in the
example below:
NOTIFY sip:<user>@<dsthost> SIP/2.0
To: sip:<user>@<dsthost>
From: sip:sipsak@<srchost>
CSeq: 10 NOTIFY
Call-ID: 1234@<srchost>
Event: check-sync;reboot=true
To enable remote reset upon receipt of SIP NOTIFY:
1.
Open the Gateway Advanced Settings page (Setup menu > Signaling & Media tab >
Gateway folder > Gateway Advanced Settings).

From the 'Remote Management by Notify' (EnableSIPRemoteReset) drop-down list,
select Enable:

Click Apply.
