62.10.4 Voice Mail Parameters

The voice mail parameters are described in the table below. For more information on the
Voice Mail application, refer to the CPE Configuration Guide for Voice Mail.

The valid range is 1 to 49. The default is 5 for analog and 30 for digital.
Note:
Instead of using the parameter, Digit Mapping rules can be
configured.
For FXS/FXO interfaces: Dialing ends when any of the following
scenarios occur:
Maximum number of digits is dialed
Interdigit Timeout (TimeBetweenDigits) expires
Pound (#) key is pressed
Digit map pattern is matched
Analog: Defines the time (in seconds) that the device waits between
digits that are dialed by the user.
ISDN overlap dialing: Defines the time (in seconds) that the device
waits between digits that are received from the PSTN or IP during
overlap dialing.
When this inter-digit timeout expires, the device uses the collected
digits to dial the called destination number.
The valid range is 1 to 10. The default is 4.
Determines whether the asterisk (*) and pound (#) digits can be used
in DTMF.
[0] Disable = Use '*' or '#' to terminate number collection (refer to
the parameter UseDigitForSpecialDTMF). (Default.)
[1] Enable = Allows '*' and '#' for telephone numbers dialed by a
user or for the endpoint telephone number.
Note:
The symbols can always be used as the first digit of a dialed
number even if you disable the parameter.
The parameter is applicable only to analog interfaces.
