Video and USB breakout cable

Use this information for details about the video and USB breakout cable.
Use the video and USB breakout cable to connect external I/O devices to the server. The video and USB
breakout cable connects through the video and USB breakout connector (see "Front view" on page 17). The
video and USB breakout cable has connectors for a display device (video) and two USB connectors for
a USB keyboard and mouse.
The following illustration shows the connectors and components on the video and USB breakout cable.

• Power-control button and power-on LED: Press this button to turn the server on and off manually.
The states of the power-on LED are as follows:
Off: Power is not present or the power supply, or the LED itself has failed.
Flashing rapidly (4 times per second): The server is turned off and is not ready to be turned on. The
power-control button is disabled. This will last approximately 5 to 10 seconds.
