If you are instructed to return the memory module, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging
materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
Replacing the ServeRAID adapter memory module
Use this information to replace the ServeRAID adapter memory module.
To install the ServeRAID adapter memory module, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines"
on page 34.
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords.
Step 3.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 195).
Step 4.
Connect the cable to the ServeRAID adapter memory module.

Step 5.
Align the memory module with the retention pins. Install the ServeRAID adapter memory module
into the system board.
