Step 4.
Slide the safety cover toward the back of the server until it is secure.
Step 5.
Connect the hard disk drive backplane power cables to the connector in front of the safety cover.
Step 6.
Install the screws into the safety cover.
Step 7.
Replacing the cover (see "Replacing the cover" on page 196).
Step 8.
Slide the server into the rack.
Step 9.
Reconnect the power cords and all external cables, and turn on the server and peripheral devices.
Replacing the power paddle card cover
Use this information to replace the power paddle card cover.
To install the power paddle card cover, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines"
on page 34.
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables,
if necessary.
Step 3.
Align the power paddle card cover with the pins on the chassis and install it in the server until it
is secure.
