Step 6.
Reconnect the cables to the hard disk drive backplane.
Step 7.
Reinstall the hard disk drives (see "Replacing a hot-swap drive" on page 211).
Step 8.
Install the cover (see "Replacing the cover" on page 196).
Step 9.
Slide the server into the rack.
Step 10. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
Step 11. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.
Removing the 8x1.8-inch SSD backplane assembly
Use this information to remove the 8x1.8-inch SSD backplane assembly.
Attention:
1. Before removing any components or disconnecting any cables, keep note of their respective locations
and how they are connected to the system board.
To remove the 8x1.8-inch hot-swap SSD backplane assembly, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines"
on page 34.
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables,
if necessary.
Step 3.
If the server is installed in a rack, slide it out of the rack.
Step 4.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 195).
Step 5.
Remove the drive filler panel.
