INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Check voltage between terminal STJ of ECM connector and body ground.

Check resistance of cold start injector.

Check and repair harness and connector between
ECM and cold start injector, cold start injector and
battery.

– CIRCUIT INSPECTION
1. Remove glove compartment. (See page BO–111).
2. Disconnect start injector time switch connector.
3. Disconnect ECM connector.
Measure voltage between terminal STJ of ECM connec-

tor and body ground when ignition switch is turned to
STA.
Voltage: 10 – 14 V
Go to step

Disconnect cold start injector connector.
Measure resistance between terminals of cold start in-
C
jector.
Resistance: 2 – 4 W at 20C (68F)
Replace cold start injector.
