to products sold prevously . AC Technology Corporaton also holds no lablty for losses
of any knd whch may result from ths acton . Instructon manuals wth the most up-to-date
nformaton are avalable for download from the AC Tech webste (www .actech .com) .

Warranty

AC Technology Corporaton warrants the SCL/SCM Seres AC motor control to be free of
defects n materal and workmanshp for a perod of 24 months from the date of shpment
from AC Tech's factory . If, under normal use, an SCL/SCM motor control becomes defectve
wthn the stated warranty tme perod, contact AC Technology's Servce Department for
nstructons on obtanng a warranty replacement unt . AC Technology Corporaton reserves
the rght to make the final determnaton as to the valdty of a warranty clam, and sole
oblgaton s to repar or replace only components whch have been rendered defectve
due to faulty materal or workmanshp . No warranty clam wll be accepted for components
whch have been damaged due to mshandlng, mproper nstallaton, unauthorzed repar
and/or alteraton of the product, operaton n excess of desgn specficatons or other
msuse, or mproper mantenance . AC Technology Corporaton makes no warranty that ts
products are compatble wth any other equpment, or to any specfic applcaton, to whch
they may be appled and shall not be held lable for any other consequental damage or
njury arsng from the use of ts products .
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. No other person,
firm or corporation is authorized to assume, for AC Technology Corporation, any
other liability in connection with the demonstration or sale of its products.
1.4 Receiving
Inspect all cartons for damage whch may have occurred durng shppng . Carefully
unpack equpment and nspect thoroughly for damage or shortage . Report any damage
to carrer and/or shortages to suppler . All major components and connectons should be
examned for damage and tghtness, wth specal attenton gven to PC boards, plugs,
knobs and swtches .
1.5 Safety Information
Some parts of AC Tech controllers can be electrcally lve and some surfaces can be hot .
Non-authorzed removal of the requred cover, napproprate use, and ncorrect nstallaton
or operaton creates the rsk of severe njury to personnel or damage to equpment . All
operatons concernng transport, nstallaton, and commssonng as well as mantenance
must be carred out by qualfied, sklled personnel famlar wth the nstallaton, assembly,
commssonng, and operaton of varable frequency drves and the applcaton n whch
the drve s used .
