If, however, Parameter 16 - UNITS EDITING s set to TENTHS OF UNITS (01), parameter
values and the keypad speed command can be adjusted n tenths of unt ncrements up
to a value of 1000 (above 1000, whole unt ncrements only) . Each push of the or
button wll adjust the value by one tenth of a unt . If the or button s pressed and
held, the value wll ncrement by tenths of unts untl the next whole unt s reached, and
then the value wll ncrement by whole unts .
When a value above 100 s beng adjusted by tenths of unts, the value s shfted to the
left by one dgt so that the tenths porton of the value can be dsplayed . Ths results n
the first dgt (readng from left to rght) of the value dsappearng from the dsplay . Also,
the lower decmal pont wll blnk to ndcate that the actual value s above 100 . Once
the value s no longer beng adjusted, the value wll shft back to the rght and the tenths
porton of the value wll dsappear .
In the example below, Parameter 19 - ACCELERATION TIME s presently set to 243 .0
seconds, and s beng ncreased to 243 .7 seconds .

Electronic Programming Module (EPM)
Every SCL/SCM Seres drve has an Electronc Programmng Module (EPM) nstalled on
the man control board . The EPM stores the user's parameter settngs and specal OEM
default settngs (f programmed) . The EPM s removable, allowng t to be nstalled n
another drve for quck set-up . For example, f a drve s beng replaced wth a new one,
the EPM can be taken out of the first drve and nstalled n the new drve . Downtme s
mnmzed because the new drve does not requre programmng - t s ready to run when
the EPM s nstalled .
