SCL/SCM DISPLAY MESSAGES

The followng paragraphs descrbe the varous dsplays and messages that can appear
on the SCL/SCM drve .
17.1 Speed Display
If the drve s n a STOP state (ndcated by "- - -" on the dsplay), and the commanded
speed s changed, the dsplay wll show the commanded speed, and the upper left decmal
pont wll turn on sold . About five seconds after a change s made, the dsplay wll begn to
alternate between the commanded speed value and the "- - -" dsplay . If the Mode button
s pressed, the dsplay wll stop alternatng and show the "- - -" dsplay only .
When the drve s gven a START command, the dsplayed speed wll start ncreasng as
the drve accelerates up to the commanded speed . If the commanded speed s changed
whle the drve s runnng, the dsplay wll show the commanded speed rather than the
actual speed, untl the actual speed reaches the commanded speed .
If the commanded speed s changed faster than the drve can accelerate or decelerate,
the upper left decmal pont wll blnk to ndcate that the the drve s acceleratng or
deceleratng to the new speed . Once the actual speed reaches the commanded speed,
the upper left decmal pont wll turn on sold for 5 seconds and then turn off to ndcate
that the commanded speed has been reached, and that the dsplay s now showng the
actual speed .
17.2 Changing the Speed Reference Source
When the speed source s changed whle the drve s runnng, the dsplay wll flash the
message for the new speed source to ndcate that the new speed source s actve . Also,
f the drve s beng controlled from a speed source other than the  and  buttons (0-10
VDC, 4-20 mA, etc), and one of the  or  buttons s pressed, the dsplay wll flash the
present speed source message to ndcate that the  and  buttons are nvald .
Example 1: The drve s runnng and the present speed source s the keypad . TB-13A s
programmed to select a 4-20 mA sgnal as the speed source . When TB-13A s closed to
TB-11, the dsplay wll flash "EI" to ndcate that the speed source has changed to the 4-20
mA sgnal . If the contact between TB-13A and TB-11 s opened, the dsplay wll flash "CP"
to ndcate that the speed source has changed back to the  and  buttons .
Example 2: The speed source s a 0-10 VDC sgnal . If the  or  button s pushed, the
dsplay wll flash "EU" to ndcate that the present speed source s the 0-10 VDC sgnal
and that the  and  buttons are nvald .
