P20 DECELERATION TIME
P20 sets the deceleraton rate for all of the speed reference sources (keypad, speed pot, jog,
MOP, and preset speeds) . Ths settng s the tme to decelerate from BASE FREQUENCY
to 0 Hz . If the drve s set for COAST TO STOP (settng 01 or 02 n Parameter 04), ths
parameter wll have no effect when a STOP command s gven .
P21 DC BRAKE TIME
P21 sets the length of tme that the DC brakng voltage s appled to the motor . The DC
BRAKE TIME should be set to the lowest value that provdes satsfactory operaton n
order to mnmze motor heatng .
P22 DC BRAKE VOLTAGE
P22 sets the magntude of the DC brakng voltage, n percentage of the lne voltage . The
pont at whch the DC brakng s actvated depends on the selected STOP METHOD
(Parameter 04):
If COAST WITH DC BRAKE s selected, brakng s actvated after a tme delay of up to 2
seconds, dependng on the output frequency at the tme of the STOP command . In ths
case, the DC brakng s the only force actng to decelerate the load .
If RAMP WITH DC BRAKE s selected, brakng s actvated when the output frequency
reaches 0 .2 Hz . In ths case, the drve decelerates the load to a near stop and then DC
brakng s used to brng the load to a final stop .
P23 MINIMUM FREQUENCY
P23 sets the mnmum output frequency of the drve for all speed reference sources except
the PRESET SPEEDS (Parameters 31-37), and s used wth MAXIMUM FREQUENCY
(Parameter 24) to define the operatng range of the drve .
When usng an analog nput speed reference (0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA), Parameters 45
and 46 (SPEED AT MIN SIGNAL and SPEED AT MAX SIGNAL) also affect the drve's
speed range .
NOTE
If ths parameter s changed whle the drve s runnng, the new value wll not take
effect untl the drve s stopped .
P24 MAXIMUM FREQUENCY
P24 sets the maxmum output frequency of the drve for all speed reference sources,
and s used wth MINIMUM FREQUENCY (Parameter 23) to define the operatng range
of the drve .
When usng an analog nput speed reference (0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA), Parameters 45 and
46 (SPEED AT MIN SIGNAL and SPEED AT MAX SIGNAL) also affect the drve's speed
range .
