6.4.3 Manual Cleaning
To perform separate cleanng operatons for each prnthead, manual postve pressure cleanng can be
performed after movng the desred PH carrage to the PH mantenance poston. Use the followng steps to
perform ths functon.
(1) Select [3.Cleanng Tool] from the man menu by usng [▲▼] (Up/Down) keys, and press the [ENTER] key.

(2) Select [3.PH Mantenance] from the sub menu by usng [▲▼] (Up/Down) keys, and press the [ENTER]
key.

(3) Durng operaton, a "Busy" message s dsplayed on the LCD, and the PH carrage moves to the PH
mantenance poston.
(4) Press the [ESC] key to return to the man menu.
(5) Select [1.Ink Status] from the man menu by usng [▲▼] (Up/Down) keys, and press the [ENTER] key.

cleanng. The Ink Pump operates whle the key s pressed, and postve pressure cleanng s performed.
Hold down the key for around 5 - 10 seconds.
