5. Make an adjustment of the meda feed amount.
1) Open the file "6_Feed Compensate_12HEAD.group".
* For 8-head model printers, open "5_Feed Compensate_8HEAD.group".
2) Set the value for the Feed Compensaton to "0".
3) Select the number of passes (resoluton) for prntng.
• Settng for each pass can be stored n the memory.
* To do so, settng for each pass s requred.
4) Perform prntng.
5) Check the results of prntng, and nput the compensaton value ndcated wth the lne.
If whte strpes are shown, ncrease the value.
If black strpes are shown, decrease the value.
6) Perform printing again to confirm that there is no banding.
If the adjusted condton s not what s ntended, repeat steps from 1 to 6.
* Take a memo of the set values after all the settngs are complete.
* Set values are stored on your PC. Changng your PC may change the set values for the Important Setup.
* After changng the settngs for EF Value, PH Heater, Prnt Speed, Feed Speed, heght of the head and
thckness of meda (type), the results of adjustment may be dfferent. If you change prntng condtons, prnt
the patterns for adjustment agan, and make another adjustment f the results are not satsfactory.
