Weekly maintenance
To mantan stable performance of the prnter, perform the followng once a week.
Cleaning of the capping unit
Use the followng steps for cleanng of the cappng unt.
1. Move the Prnthead Carrage to the PH Mantenance Poston.
Select [3.Cleanng Tool] from the man menu by usng [▲▼] (Up/Down) keys, and press the [ENTER] key.

Select [3.PH Mantenance] from the sub menu by usng [▲▼] (Up/Down) keys, and press the [ENTER]
key.

2. The Prnthead Carrage s moved to the PH Mantenance Poston.
3. Open the panel on the front lower rght sde. Openng the panel allows access to the Cappng Unt.
4. Wpe around the edge of the upper sde of the cap wth the attached brush usng Ink Cleanng Soluton.
Then, clean the printhead nozzle plate and the lower side of the plate which fixes the printheads.
5. Open the upper and lower panels on the front left sde. Openng these panels allows access to the
Prnthead Carrage.
6. Soak the Brush in Ink Cleaning Solution. Carefully wipe the nozzle plate of the printhead.
