■ Precautions on handling ink cartridges and consumable items
Never put ink cartridges close to a fire.
Ink cartridges are flammable and may be a fire hazard.

Take care not to ingest ink or get it into your eyes.
This may cause breathing difficulty or damage to your eyes. If ink gets into

your eyes, mmedately rnse wth clear water, and consult a doctor.
If you ngest nk accdentally, do not try nduce vomtng; mmedately consult a
●
doctor.
Store ink cartridges in a location out of reach of small children.
If ink adheres to this printer, immediately wipe it off.
Leavng the nk as s may cause damage to the surface coatng of ths prnter.

Take care regarding the following issues.
Do not use any ink other than those specified because it may not only disturb

prntng qualty, but also cause a malfuncton whch wll prevent approprate
mantenance procedures.
Do not use nk after the expraton date because t may cause a malfuncton.

Put nk cartrdges after use n a plastc bag, and dspose of them as ndustral
●
waste. If there are any local regulatons on a dsposal method, comply wth the
applcable rules.
Take care not to get nk on your skn or clothng. If nk gets on your skn,

mmedately rnse t off by usng soap and water.
Perodcally check the amount of the waste nk n waste nk bottles to avod an

overflow.
When removing waste ink bottles, place paper on the floor to avoid stains from
●
leaked nk.
Store nk n a dark cold place. Never store t at locatons exposed to hgh
●
temperatures or drect sunlght. Ths may affect ts performance.
Do not dsassemble nk cartrdges.
