3.1 Feeding the paper

CAUTION
● Usually, set the switch to the "=" side.
For printing (for normal use)
Set the Meda Feedng System Swtch to the "=" sde. The sensor checks for the presence of paper, and the
detected paper s automatcally fed out.
CAUTION ● Be sure to set the switch to the "=" side (automatic feeding) when printing. If printing
occurs while the Media Feeding System Switch is set to the "O" side or the "—" side, it
may result in a failure.
Rolling up the paper
Set the Meda Feedng System Swtch to the "—" sde. Whle the swtch s set to the " — " sde, the Meda
Feedng Roller rotates n a reverse drecton whch rolls up the paper on the roll paper stocker.
Stopping the feeding of the paper
Settng the Meda Feedng System Swtch to the " O " sde stops the feedng.
CAUTION
● Usually, set the switch to the "=" side.
