FOX™ PODIUM 'Piggyback' Assembly
IMPORTANT: To prevent damage or marks to the
shock, the use of special tools and a soft jaw vise is
recommended.
FOX™ shocks contain high pressure nitrogen
gas. Extreme caution must be used while
handling and working with FOX™ shocks and
related high pressure service equipment. The
pressure must be released from the shock
before disassembly. It is strongly recommended
you wear safety glasses and ear protection
during these procedures.
The following procedure involves the use of an
open flame. Perform this procedure in a well-
ventilated area, away from gasoline or other
flammable materials. Be sure the area to be
flame treated is clean and free of gasoline
or flammable residue.
Do not flame treat components that are installed
on the vehicle. Remove the component from the
vehicle before flame treating.
