Chapter 12 Interrupt Functions; Interrupt Request Handling Modes - NEC PD78212 User Manual

The µ PD78214 has the following two interrupt handling modes. Either mode can be selected by the program.
Interrupt handling by a macro service is limited to the interrupt request sources provided with a macro service
handling mode listed in Table 12-1.
Interrupt request handling mode
Vectored interrupt
Macro service
Maskable vectored interrupts can easily be controlled by multiple-interrupt handling with two priority levels.
