INSPECTION STEPS
If the fuel pump will not operate, use the following inspection steps.
*1 Check fuse.
OK
*2 Check battery
OK
Check each coupler and
wire connection.
OK
*1 Check main switch.
OK
Check fuel pump stop
switch.
OK
Check fuel pump relay.
OK
Check fuel pump operation.
*1 marked : Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM" section.
*2 marked : Refer to "BATTERY INSPECTION" section in the CHAPTER 3.
NOTE:
• Remove the following parts before inspection.
1) Cowling
A
2) Fuel tank
• Use 12V battery in this inspection.
• Use the following special tool in this inspection.
