SHIFT SHAFT

REMOVAL POINTS
EC4F3100
Drive sprocket
1. Remove:
• Nut (drive sprocket) 1
• Lock washer 2
NOTE:
• Straighten the lock washer tab.
• Loosen the nut while applying the rear brake.
2. Remove:
• Drive sprocket 1
• Drive chain 2
NOTE:
Remove the drive sprocket together with the
drive chain.

Transmission housing
1. Remove:
• Bolt (transmission housing)
• Transmission housing 1
NOTE:
Remove the transmission housing together
with the transmission, shift cam, shift fork and
shift shaft.

Shift guide and shift lever assembly
1. Remove:
• Bolt (shift guide)
• Shift guide 1
• Shift lever assembly 2
NOTE:
The shift lever assembly is disassembled at
the same time as the shift guide.

Stopper lever
1. Remove:
• Stopper lever assembly 1
• Torsion spring 2
• Plain washer
NOTE:
Remove the stopper lever assembly with its
roller aligning with the top a of the segment.
