Using the utility Þles and switches
When you download a color correction utility Þle to the printer, certain rear
panel switches must be positioned accordingly for the color correction to
take effect.
Phaser 220i:
Switches 8 and 9 on the printerÕs rear panel must be in the up
position before you download a color correction utility Þle, for
example the Simulate Display (DISPLAY.PS) Þle. Both switches
must remain in the up position for the downloaded color
correction to be available. If the position of either switch is
changed, the default color correction changes. Refer to the topic
ÒUsing the switches on the printerÕs rear panelÓ for more
information.
Phaser 220e:
Switch 3 on the printerÕs rear panel must be in the up position
before you download a color correction utility Þle, for example the
Simulate Display (DISPLAY.PS) Þle. This switch must remain in the
up position for the downloaded color correction to be available. If
the position of the switch is changed, the default color correction
changes. Refer to the topic ÒUsing the switches on the printerÕs
rear panelÓ for more information.
