ÿ Overview of
Functions This system assists in reversing parking by combining and displaying a guide line
that serves as a reference for reversing operations on the
image behind the vehicle. In assist mode, the steering wheel is automatically operated to
assist the vehicle in reversing parking near the target parking position confirmed on the screen
or exiting from parallel parking. (Shift lever operation and forward/backward speed adjustment
are not
performed automatically.) • Intelligent Parking Assist 2 is not an automatic parking device.
Auxiliary equipment for exiting from reverse parking or parallel parking. • Because
the system assists the steering wheel operation toward the vicinity of the set target parking
position, it may not be possible to reach the set target parking position depending on the
