3. The second operation of the electromagnet (which occurs in the rinse
cycle) then operates the rinse aid dispenser via the lever – refer to
Figure 4-2 – Combination Dispenser Unit, Item 2.
Note:
If the door is opened after detergent has been released (perhaps to add
further items to the machine), then the lever returns to its start position
(refer to Figure 4-3). For this reason, there are two operations of the
electromagnet during the rinse cycle to ensure that rinse aid is
dispensed:
1. The lever moves to the operating position – refer to Figure 4-4.
2. The second operation releases via the lever (Figure 4-2, Item 2),
the pre-set quantity of rinse aid.
