5.4.2 Fan Unit
Refer to Figure 5-8.
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
2. The Turbothermic Plus fan unit (M2) is situated between the inner
door panel and the fascia panel – refer to Figure 5-5 – Electrical
Components – Dishwasher Door.
3. Pull off the rotary knob(s) from the selector switch(es) and unscrew
the fascia panel and the door panel.
4. Remove the hose from the fan unit – refer to Figure 5-8, Item 2.

Note:
Fan Unit – Electrical Connection: The plug connectors on the fan motor
are self-locking, i.e. a barb prevents the plugs from inadvertently being
pulled out. The plug can only be removed by inserting a tool to release
the catch.
5. Unplug the unit.
6. The fan is fastened to the inner door panel by the cap, Figure 5-8,
Item 4. To remove, turn the cap counterclockwise using a pair of
pointed pliers.
7. Unscrew the motor (Item 1).
8. The impeller (Item 3) can be removed from the motor using two small
screwdrivers as depicted in Figure 5-9.
