2.5 Plumbing
2.5.1 Water Intake
1. Household dishwashers can be connected to a hot or cold water
supply (Max. 60°C).
2. The Waterproof leak prevention inlet hose is approx. 1.5 m long; If
required, a 4 m long Waterproof hose can be ordered from the Spares
Dept.
3. A stopcock with a 3/4" male thread must be provided on site.
4. Miele dishwashers are built to comply with DVGW regulations and
may be connected to a suitable supply without the use of an extra
non-return valve.
5. The water pressure (flow pressure at the take-off point) must be
between 1 and 10 bar. If the pressure is lower, switch to "level-
controlled water intake with time limit" – refer to Section 2.0 –
Commissioning and Operation.
6. To make sure that the Waterproof leak protection systems functions
properly, the connection box must be fitted the correct way up. The
protective outer hose must not be damaged – refer to Figure 2-26.
