G500 Dishwashers
4.1.4
Selection Requirements
The following conditions must have been fulfilled before the electronic
controls can function properly:
a) There must be a closed circuit at the ON/OFF switch S2 and the door
contact switch S24.
b) A program must be selected using the light-touch switches. The
selection of a program is acknowledged by the appropriate LED on
the fascia panel.
c) The heater level switch B1/10 must not have switched during the first
five seconds of water intake (Drainage control function).
d) The heating level switch B1/10 must switch after a max. water inlet
time of 2 minutes.
e) The NTC temperature sensor R 30 must provide the electronic unit
with realistic values. A short circuit or an open circuit within the
temperature sensing circuitry would automatically cause the program
to be terminated. Two dashes in the display would indicate a technical
fault.
4.1.5
Mains Failure Monitor
To prevent a selected program from being lost in the event of a power
failure, the micro-computer requires the following data prior to a cut-out:
Unregulated voltage U1 = 23 V
100 Hz frequency provided from the 17 V a.c. by a dinode.
Auxiliary contact S2 must be open-circuited so that 6.7 V d.c. is
present at the contact's terminal.
Note:
If contact S2 is closed or short-circuited, the program's memory is
cleared as soon as the door is opened or there is an interruption in the
power supply!
