4.2 Combination Dispenser Unit
4.2.1 Lever Operation
During a complete program, the electromagnet controlling the lever is
operated three times to dispense detergent and rinse aid:
Once during the main wash to open the detergent container flap.
Twice during the final rinse to dispense the pre-set quantity of rinse
aid.
The dispenser is designed so that rinse aid is only dispensed once even if
the lever operates twice.
Correct operation is only ensured when the lever can move freely and is
not distorted in any way. For successful rinse aid dispensing, the
mechanical operation must follow the correct sequence – refer to Figure
4-2 and the following enlargements of Item 1).
