The control module houses the following electronic components:
Micro-computer
Program selection unit (light-touch switches)
Program acknowledgement unit (display)
Memory
Power failure monitor
Operational amplifier for temperature controls
4.1.1.2 Relay Module EL 531
The relay module houses the following components:
Relays
Series-parallel transformer
Voltage regulator
The relays are responsible for switching the following groups of
components:
Circulation pump, heater relays, reactivation valve, release element, fan
motor, water inlet valve and drain pump.
The series-parallel transformer converts the concatenation of data from
the microcomputer into parallel messages to activate the relays governing
the components listed above.
The voltage regulator generates the exact voltage necessary for the
electronic unit from the d.c. voltage U2 = 7 V supplied by the
transformer/rectifier unit EG 531.
