Technical Information
3.1.1.3
Salt Indicator
Depending on the type of dishwasher, the salt fill indicator is either a lamp
on the fascia panel or an indicator in the salt container cap.
"Salt" lamp in fascia panel
When the salt container is empty, the salt indicator light comes on,
indicating that the salt container must be refilled.
Note:
The control lamp will also light up if the water hardness is permanently
under 140mg/l (8°dH). In this case, the lamp does not have any
significance.
Indicator in salt container cap
As long as there is enough salt left, a green indicator in the salt
container is visible.
The salt container must be re-filled if this green area is no longer
visible.
3.1.2
Water Levels
If the flow pressure at the connection point is less than 1 bar, insufficient
water will be taken into the machine.
Check water levels as follows:
1. Turn on the stopcock and start the "Cold" program.
2. Open the dishwasher door after approx. 3 min and remove the lower
basket from the cabinet.
3. The amount of water taken in is correct if the water level is as shown
in Figure 3-3 or 3-4.
