5.5.1
Program Index
In the event of alterations to the program controls, a new ROM code and
program index is defined.
Machines manufactured at the start of the series were given the program
index "P0". This code appears in the digital display when the
programming mode is accessed (refer to Section 6.1.1).
5.5.2
Accessing Components
In order to access electrical components, the fascia panel, the metal plate
behind the fascia panel, the plinth panel and the service panel may have
to be removed (refer to Sections 5.2.1 – 5.2.4).
The electronic unit EPW 531, the display EX 531, the ON/OFF switch S2
and the door contact switch S24 are all situated behind the fascia panel.
The NTC sensor R30, the heater level switch B1/10 and the
transformer/rectifier unit EG531 are to be found in the lower reaches of
the dishwasher.
5.5.2.1
Transformer/Rectifier Unit and Water Inlet Level Switch
Figure 5-11 shows the following components:
Transformer/rectifier unit EG 531 (Item 3)
Heating level switch (Item 5)
Water inlet level switch (Item 6)
Important!
Voltages present at the level switches are not the same!
To remove the parts listed, proceed as follows:
a) Unscrew the outer door panel (refer to Section 5.2.3).
b) Remove the plinth and service panels.
c) Unscrew the fixing screws (Item 4) on the transformer/rectifier unit.
d) Unclip the lugs (Item 2) on the transformer/rectifier unit. Lever the unit
upwards using a small, thin screwdriver.
e) Remove the transformer/rectifier unit (Item 3) together with the water
inlet switch (Item 6) by pulling forward at an angle.
