6.2 Temperature Limiter 1F2
The temperature limiter 1F2 is a safety switch which may have a red
button for manual resetting – refer to Figure 6-22, Item 3.
Since approx. Machine no. 15295888 an automatic self-resetting limiter
has been fitted – refer to Figure 6-23. However, between Machine nos.
15349237 and 15360303 the manual type was fitted. The limiter operates
to switch off the heating circuit in the event of overheating at a cut-out
temperature of 83°C ± 3°C.
6.2.1 Temperature Limiter 1F2 Cuts Out
A variety of factors can cause the temperature limiter to cut out:
a) Excessive foam in the cabinet
b) Combination dispenser unit leakage
Rinse aid can leak out
c) Gap between heater element and cabinet base
Check the gap between the heater element and the cabinet base and
adjust if necessary – refer to Figure 6-20.

Check the type of rinse aid used!
Due to the similarity of the packages on sale, washing-up liquid
can easily be mistaken for dishwasher rinse aid.
